Who's it for?

This course is designed for those with previous experience of indoor climbing, who can put on a harness, tie in and belay. So if your wanting to try your first outdoor rock climbs and want to get to grips with the fundamentals of climbing then this is the course for you. 

Whats Covered?

On this intensive two day course you'll learn how to climb outdoors and how to set up bottom/top ropes whilst getting as much climbing mileage as possible. We'll aim to introduce you to the core skills needed for climbing outdoors whilst hopefully ticking off some classic routes in the process!

Course Content:

  • Intro to Bouldering Outdoors
  • Individualised Coaching to Improve your Climbing Movement Skills.
  • Use of Essential Equipment
  • Basic Rope Work 
  • Rigging & Gear Placement- how to set up bottom and top ropes
  • Intro to Abseiling
  • Introduction to Guidebooks & Climbing Grades

All safety equipment is provided free of charge, including harness, helmet, and rock climbing shoes.

At the same time as this you will also be able to climb some great routes at some of the Peak Districts and this country's best crags.
